Through The Looking Glass Induction

This induction is based on "Alice In Wonderland/Through The Looking Glass" And can be either a direct or disguised induction. It has the advantage of having the subject choose to be hypnotized with no way back once he or she does. It is presented here in the "disguised" form. HYPNOTIST: I love old novels, from the classic authors...Do you remember "Alice in Wonderland/Through The Looking Glass"? SUBJECT: (We will assume they say "yes", as almost everyone has read one version or the other.) Yes. HYPNOTIST: What a great imagination to invent a story like that. I can just picture standing in front of that mirror...can't you? SUBJECT: (If "Yes"...proceed...If "No"...continue working on having them picture it.) HYPNOTIST: Really...Oh I can...So clearly...Standing in front of that mirror...You know what...close your eyes and I know you'll be able to see yourself standing in front of it now...can't you? SUBJECT: Yes HYPNOTIST: Great...Imagine yourself being able to go through that glass...to your own personal wonderland...It would be fantastic...All you would have to do is see your reflection and step into it...Into your own personal fantasy wonderland...I'd love that...wouldn't you? SUBJECT: Yes...fantastic thought. HYPNOTIST: That reflection of you...so peaceful...so content and relaxed...no cares or worries...just total fantasy...something we all crave at some time in our lives...even right now...See your reflection... entranced by what it is experiencing there...Hypnotized by the awe-some experiences...Makes you want to step through the mirror...to experience it yourself...doesn't it? SUBJECT: Yes HYPNOTIST: See how totally relaxed it is...that reflection of you?...It would feel so incredible just to slip through the glass...Let yourself merge with your tranced reflection...To enjoy the wonders of your own personal fantasy land...It's easy to do...Just picture yourself stepping through the mirror...You can do that can't you? SUBJECT: Yes. HYPNOTIST: Feel yourself being drawn into the other you...merging with it...becoming that totally tranced...totally free person... hypnotized and relaxed in this wonderland of fantasies...It's pulling you down into your hypnotized self now...becoming one...feel it? SUBJECT: Yes. HYPNOTIST: Yes totally relaxed and sliding deeper into this fantasy wonderland...into your hypnotized self... (At this point, we'll use a standard deepening technique adapted to the story.) HYPNOTIST: Look it's the rabbit hole over there...Imagine seeing down into it...It's where your own personal fantasies are...at the bottom...Let yourself fall in...to explore your fantasy world...Nothing can harm you here...I'm here to protect and guide you...Let's go in together...ready... We'll measure by the numbers...20...we're going in...19...feel us floating down...18...(Continue to bottom.) Afterwards the Hypnotist can take the subject to another level of his or her desires..
